GENERATIONS TORONTO MIXED-USE RESIDENTIAL DEVELOPMENT

In Progress

Located in Toronto’s Don Mills neighbourhood within the expansive Celestica Lands redevelopment, this 10- and 27-storey mixed-use building will be a significant addition to the Crosstown Community. At 372,000 square feet, this multi-generational affordable housing project provides 390 rental units with studio to three-bedroom floor plans, a four-storey podium offering 78 long-term care suites (34 single and 44 doubles) and amenities, a pharmacy/medical clinic, a multi-purpose hall that can host up to 600 people, and an early childhood development facility.

The main entrance to Celestica Toronto was reconstructed, preserving heritage elements of the IBM office designed by Clare G. MacLean in 1951, and will become the entrance for a future community kitchen that aims to serve up to 2,000 meals each day.

Our team provided preconstruction services for a year, where we collaborated closely with our trade and consultant partners to transition the building envelope to a unitized curtain wall. This expedited the installation and shortened the timeline for starting interior finishes. It also eliminated the need for workers to rely on swing stages or other access equipment to perform tasks on the exterior of the building.

This project is slated for completion in February 2026.
